Hi everyone, my name is Maximo Rivano. I am a Sophomore at UTampa and just transferred here this semester, Spring of 25'. I'm super excited about this class and learning more about tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and InDesign. I've never used InDesign or Adobe Premiere, so I'm excited to understand those and apply them to my life and social media platforms through some method down the line. I have high hopes for this class and look forward to learning more than I ever have from any digital media class in the past.
The Generative AI logo I used for my first business card was inspired by the candy pop rocks, but I wanted to add my own twist. I used Adobe Firefly to create the generative AI image using a Harry Potter lightning-inspired font and an image of lightning to combine the two. It was a fun process I learned from a YouTube video that showed me the incredible capabilities of AI that I had no idea existed. Later, I brought the generative AI logo into Illustrator, used image trace only 16 colors, and then manually removed the background as best as I could, which was quite tedious. The handmade vector logo design I created, which ended up being more than one version with different variations, is based on a merchandise and clothing brand idea that closely relates to my name and is pronounced MX-WEAR.
